Tell me about it... this week I've done a 200mile round trip for a gig on Monday, 150 miles for the Welsh NADJ branch meeting on Tuesday, 160miles for the Stoke NADJ branch tonigh.. and another 60 miles to do tommorow to Coventry for the West Mids Branch. Then 60 miles for a gig on Saturday and I'll still make it along to Clives show on the Sunday (about 160miles again..)!

Well lets make it a bit more interesting....

Let us know how far you have travelled to get to us on Sunday and there will be a prize for the furthest travelled DRIVER! (just because they are not drinking)

Press your trip meter as you leave home and the highest milage wins a prize!(we'll check it with Multimap if there is a discrepance)

Not sure what prize it will be yet but definitely worth a punt!

Oh and dont forget the FREE BEER & FOOD:beer1:

I'm thoroughly cheesed off, I can't go. I'm working Sunday.

I always enjoy Clives show and generally come home with something. Got some cheap flight cases from the bring-&-buy room last year, and a light.

Come to think of it, I got 2 lights the year before.

Maybe it's just as well I can't go. I don't have a big garage to fill up like Darren.

Yes and Yes:D

Normally discount depends on how uch you are buying but as a general rule of thumb, approx 10-20% off most things but there are some REAL corkers this year.

I have EV Sx300 at £600 a pair (inc VAT) down from £700 (usual discount in our shop) but RRP list price is £899 a pair! on the day only and no limit on how many you buy.

A full powered EV SxA250 + SbA760 system Normally Circa £4K but ex display now only £3K with FULL Warrantee.

Nice to meet KMA Tom, who looked slightly nervous when I approached him and said hello, and also Wendsleydale Rich as well as quite a few others from other forums and the usual suspects from here.

Yes enjoyed it very well done , the Pro light laser cluster was that the one that gave the little sparkling colours effect ? if so is it available & how much please.

It was and I asked that question a couple of posts back...;)

By the way Paul, you shouldn't have left so early, 'cos you won a prize in the raffle, but you had to be there to collect it...:(

Well, just got back and didn't win a prize - boo!!!

However it was a good little show as always and the free food and drink was great! Free entry, free raffle, food and drink - what more could you ask for?

Nice to meet KMA Tom, who looked slightly nervous when I approached him and said hello, and also Wendsleydale Rich as well as quite a few others from other forums and the usual suspects from here.

I bought one of the American Audio players for backup on the karaoke console at a bargain price too.

A good afternoon and well worth going.

was nice to meet you too. much better if you can speak to the person face to face. thought the day went quite well.

imo the prolight is much better. i have to agree with steve that the prolight looks like the small laser beam dots are exploding on the floor. gives off a better effect and the sound to light it better and more responsive.

there both good lasers but i prefer the prolight one.

Are you picking up/do you know James-H by any chance?

He is from around that way I believe.

I'm picking up Adam and possibly James too, depends if he's up in time :D

Yep adam has the joy of living in the same town as me.... and that was the original plan but after a week of 6am starts and not getting in from my gig till gone 3am sadly sleep won :( although from what i hear i missed a great day!

He may not want to hang around with us all, especially if James (if he comes) wears one of his infamous Hawaian shirts :D

Who said I was going to hang out wth you anyway? :boxer2: :D

Yeah, tell James to turn his shirt down...:p

Ha ha don't worry lads i only wear them shirts away from the UK these days... well maybe coalville at the end of feb/march if you're very lucky..

Sorry i couldn't make it clive but will hopefully catch up soon.

Sorry I couldn't make it guys, had family problems, and spent time rushing round back an forth to the local hospital.

Will just have to wait for the next one!

Obviously I wasn't there, but guess you guys are talking about the PROLIGHT EQUINOX GALACTICA (http://www.prolight.co.uk/item.php?hdnID=508240), if so, it retails at the same cost as the KAM one - £299.

Have you had a play with it yet?

Does it come with any cards & how do you get the track onto the card?

Yep, had a quick play.

It comes with a 1Gb card and a USB adapter if you don't have a card reader, so it's easy to transfer tracks over.

Depending on how you structure your folders, it can be a bit of a pain searching for songs as it has to be done manually via a small knob.

You can play songs from one card via both decks though. I'll do a more detailed review when I've hooked it up to a mixer.

Yes I think that's the one ,very similar to the KAM one but seemed more interesting & slightly crisper, I think it would look great on floor or ceiling ,very tempted to order one now.

I'm going to have to get out this Prolight one out tomorrow and have another look at it. This came out months ago, and when I saw it, didn't think nothing of it. Thought the Kam one was much more impressive when it came out a few weeks ago. Going to have to compare them both now, as I was going to buy the Kam one this week.

Oh well better luck next time!

They didn't arrive today in the delivery from ADJ as promised, so I'll take them off a couple of non ADJ light units I have here and send them to you later today. Hopefully arrive for Monday.

Sorry for the delay the ADJ parcel only arrived at 5:20pm as it was.

They're not really getting off to a great start with me at the moment!

I'll be intouch soon.....
