I have great prolight cases for my rovers and winners and purchased 2 bags for my Impossibled's but have to say that I don't feel confident in using them.
What do you guys use to transport yours?

12" record cases- either the hard plastic or metal ones- about £25 on ebay.

I bought a couple of Ebay and they are very well made and have thin foam lining too.

I have a large plastic abs trunk that fits both units in quite snuggly. About £30 from B&Q

As the ImpossibLED's are the same as the AmericanDJ REVO III they should also fit in the recommended Arriba Bag available from Terralec (http://www.terralec.co.uk/rack_cases_and_bags/padded_equipment_bag_330_x_330_x_355mm/22889_p.html).

Hi thanks for the pic.I actually have bags for them already but just feel that, with the delicate front end,I could do with sturdy boxes

Yeah I already managed to punch out the front lense several times without trying. Hopefully they will fix that on later models.

Not when you've found something that has been recommended that is cheap, strong, light, has foam and fits the light very well, no. :p

I use the arriba bags. To strengthen the front I just cut a few pieces of tough perspex to size and slipped them in the front of the bags for extra rigidity. Works perfect. The reason I opted for the bags is because I wanted something that would take my units without having to take off the bracket and clamp. The bags also have a nice pocket at the front for the iec cable and dmx cables to go. The bags are perfect for my needs.

Have you not thought of black gaffer taping the boxes?
Buy some foam gaffe tape that and tape in the box, hey presto and don't look tacky either.

The original packing case the Impossibled came in.

Nice foam packing, attractive strong coloured box--what more do you need:D :D :D
