Good Morning Chaps,

Hope you are all well.

Now here is another question for you.

I am looking to buy either 4 x Twister 4hp's or 4 x Martin Destroyers.

Can I please have your thoughts especially if you run either effect.

Which is best!!!!

I have a couple of Twister 4HPs and they are a very good effect with lovely deep colours. I think the destroyers are quite old effects aren't they?

I have had a re think and have desided on 4 x twister 4hps.

Do you use a dmx controller with them? and if so which one would you recommend?

For 4 Goboflower effects I wouldn't bother Garry - they have pretty good patterns built in.

Same here, linking them master slave would probably be a lot less effort in the long run. And as there is a limited amount of patterns on a goboflower effect its own program will probably cover most possibilties

Sorry for the ignorance chaps but if I linked them all toegether would they all do the same thing with the gobos and colours?? with out a dmx controller?

Yeah correct

Twister 4's are nice effects, i am a big fan of abstract stuff myself and have never had a problem with it.
Martin destroyers are old effects like darren said and are very basic budget moon flowers from martin, They are abit on the heavy side too when i removed some from the bowling alley i used to Dj at.

If i'm not too late have a look for a Martin Punisher, I used to have a pair of destroyers with a punisher in the middle its a similar effect but has shake,
will see if i can locate a vid

Apart from eating bulbs, i m happy with the Twister 4 i use:)
