Thought this maybe useful to some of you on here who are looking into setting up your own Karaoke business or adding Karaoke to the existing business.

In parts it can be a bit vague and out of date but i think this gives some useful information and a good place to start to anyone thinking of going down this road.

That's a good article. I agree with almost all of it completely. While I don't use microphone stands I have had a few people say that is a good way to (a) keep the singers where you want them to stand, (b) keep the mics apart when duets are singing - Paradise By The Dashboard Light anyone? (c) Stops people swinging the mics around (d) keeps the mics off the floor (e) prevents the mics being dumped on a table or somewhere and that awful 'clunk' because the singer didn't turn the mic off...

If I was to add anything right now, it would definately be mic stands.
