I have just bought a Soundcraft spirit folio F1 16 channel mixer.
Can anybody recommend a flight case for one of these?
I may make one but would like to see what kind of price they are first in case their cheep enough to just buy one.

I use a 12u gator pop up mixer case depending on the size of that mixer can't work out how many u's it is from the photo I am sure they do a case to fit that size and the cases have wheels on ;)

Yeh the folio is a bit deeper than most mixing desks I think it may be 12u.

Thanks for the link mate, that particular one does look a bit heavy duty for what am after, spose I am after a foam lined carpeted box type as the ones in the link are quite heavy boxes on their own.
Maybe something along the lines of the pick below?

The problem you will find with the type of case in your link is, unless treated very gently, the suitcase-type surface mounted catches become buckled, bent or broken. Also the rear hinges are not particularly strong.

The FCW cases have recessed butterfly catches and are built to withstand the rigours of the road. FCW offer excellent customer service and their product represent excellent value for money, and are well worth spending that bit extra on.

Well I dont need a box for the spirit anymore, after some thought it was a bit big and a bit overkill for what I need really so did a swap with my mate for his Studiomaster club 2000 mixer, this is quite allot smaller so fits my setup better, although I never say never am not really interested in the karaoke side so dont need any reverb effects which the club 2000 doesn't have although if I did venture down the karaoke road ill just need to get an effects unit that will connect to the club 2000 through the Aux sends but not really a problem.

I may be able to get a flight case a bit cheaper now as well :D
