Hi all

i picked up a used goalpost lighting rig today, its been well used and knocked about a bit, it could do with a bit of 'sprucing up'. Is it possible to repaint them easily??

Bit of black paint will do just fine.......if you want to go the whole hog, get a powder coated job...ring any paint spray shop near you...but make sure they do powder coating...

Hope this helps. :)

Edit - Shop!!!!....i mean manufacture or someone who has a premises that does this sort of thing.....:)

If you look around for garages who respray cars, you might get them to do it cheaply. Personally, I'd spray and lacquer it myself.

Hya mate, other than having it powder coated as already mentioned, the black satin smooth spray paint from hammerite is very good for this.

Indeed....but just for touch up...normal black paint...after all, who's gonna see it....:)

One more question before you go spending.....

Any rust showing....?

If so ......you need to scrub and clean first....:)

You can get wet and dry from B&Q.....dip in water scrub till rust disappears...(nice silver bit).....dry and clean...best with thinners... then paint...:)
