Hya does anybody use the LED Parbar?
I quite like the look of them, not on a t-bar but used on a deck stand overhead bar.
Whats your views on them?

Really liking the idea of this, Wonder what the they are selling at when they come out, I like the idea of them being really compact and quick and easy to set up and take down.

Looks interesting, I currently use rather old heavy floodlights about the size of big car headlights which give a strong beam through filters.
I wonder if these might not have the same power over distance for lighting ceilings or walls?
Hopefully a lot lighter in weight:D
How much is the whole set up with stand roughly?

I think they look ugly.
Do they change colour, or is it single colour LEDs in each (like traditional PARs)?

Hooray, it's not just me then! :D :D
I'd guess it's RGB colour mixing, like most others.
I have two Ts with LED Pars on, I find them really versatile, especially with a good simple DMX controller like the Acme Visio one....can do gentle backlighting/mood lighting and can do lively chases and strobing for more upbeat stuff, 12 different colours....I assume these work similarly

Yeah, but the Visios are multi coloured & each one can be RGB. The ones in the pic look like they are single colour. If I was going for something like this, I'd go for 4 Visios on a bar (they're far prettier & by the looks of it more versatile.)

Never mind them, anybody know of any great deals on KAM LED 800 MKII's? I need at least one more, and they're not plentiful. :( Most of the similar ones from competitors are a few less LED's

You've had one answer, now I'd like one on a closely linked and inherently valuable question. ;) :D :D

Bar, you say...? I have 2 x Prolight LEDJ Blockbuster 6 bars.
Link --> HERE (http://prolight.co.uk/item/ledj73/?PHPSESSID=1e4028097a2bb41fbd4afb955209bba8) <--
Give a very nice wash on the dancefloor, have 10mm LED's, and can be run Master / Slave STL, pre-set programs or full DMX as you wish.
One plug to plug in for each item, one cable to link the two. Weigh 5 kg each bar - much less than the 4 Robocolors and controller they replaced!
Video of them on my rig --> HERE (http://www.slingshot.uk.com/fd/photos/fdr_lights_feb08.wmv) <--

A perfectly viable way forward in my opinion. If I hadn't gone with KAM, I might have done something similar. They're so much prettier than those blasted Pars.
Edit: Thanks Chris, only one minor flaw there, I've got the oblong model. The S suffix denotes "Strip" ie
bar shaped. Thanks for your help, I've been looking as well.

KAMs site states an SSP of £359.95 but they're on a few sites (Phase One and Disco World to name but 2) for £329.99. I was looking at them earlier one and they're now penciled in on my wishlist!

Who's Chris?
According to the public profile of PP Entertainments, that would be Chris, who I am thanking in my edit for his link to a smilar product to that which I was seeking. Sorry if it was confusing.
