It may only be a sample, but it is illegal to do this and record it.

how come?

You can't record, change and dub other people's songs, even with the Produb licence. You can't change them without permission.

Radio stations do it all the time when they talk over a track

Well first you have made me go and dig out my Queen CD because it’s a great song I haven’t heard for ages!
I personally like the effect and the theme but I think the voice over is too hard to hear.

EDIT:
Just been reading what Darren has put and its a good point.

Right, one thought here.

It is perfectly ok to mix tracks 'live' without any special licence, so why not record the voice over and effects as an mp3, then simply mix it with the intro of the Queen track using cue points to make sure it starts and ends at the right place?

sounds awful to me, you wouldnt want this at an very run of the mill wedding, it sounds like an allien is landing, i know it might of taken you hours to do and sound impressive to your ears, just do it live, and plus make an voice effects cd with different voices over on it, you never know when your voice might go, cheers damian

I don't think it's for a wedding, but for his rock show.

Thanks Daz spot on mate, I wouldn't dream of using that for a wedding unless it was rock themed :)

Yeh good point about doing it live, if I put the voice overs on a cd timed as they are on the sample I could simply start the queen track and the voice over disk at the same time with the crossfader set in the center so you can hear both at the same time. :)
