Right. Now don't take this as a binding contract, but if the Good Lord refrains from hurling too much precipitation at us, and I can make a valid case to the Good Lady for a replacement lad's night out for the one I missed at DJSN, I might just make it.

Why do trade shows have to be on at the weekend?

Looked into coming down on the Sunday but it's a 5 and a half hour drive (each way), so that's out of the question. Wouldn't be so bad if I had the Saturday off. Can't find a flight on the Sunday morning either. I give up. :(

It does look good, saw it on their stand at Plasa.
It gets a bit wild at times, due to the different patterns going at the same time on some of the automated programs, but thats nothing a little bit of DMX'ing won't sort out.

Yeah, i think it was actually a seller of Void, not Void themselves that had a stand. Not a very good idea to be showing off their best and most expensive touring system at a DJ show, should have had a Basys system there, but nevermind.

Very nice kit in the marquee from Panda Hire. Would have been nice to see / hear it all in action but nothing was happening at around midday when i popped through.

I have to agree with everything. If void were allowed to put the full 2400 watts instead of 900 watts then it would be a different story. lol.

I am sold, 100%, I am even thinking of selling my mackies to get some of this void gear. I know they used the Stasys rig but If they can make speakers sound that good, Im sure the rest of the range is just as good as the best they can offer. :D:D:D

Only for the Basys though really. The Mycro stuff is still around the same price, and it's lovely. I've recently picked up four Mycro 6's for conference work, and with a little sub they would kick for small to medium sized venues.

Well I enjoyed it as always.

I hung out with Ian and his wife from MDJF and the usual suspects were there - Tony, Dave, Paul and Milky Way...who kept nicking my chips, little sod!

Thanks to Tony for lending me a tenner, as I didn't have any cash with me!

Towards the end of the show Dan and I hung out with Adam Forgie and helped him pack down the HTFR stand, then we went back to the Hotel and then we were off out for a night in Loughborough. I met a couple of really nice Irish fellas from another forum, so there were 5 of us. A few pints of Guinness later we went to some club, playing very loud R&B (great), then about 3am, it was kebab time and then bed around 4am...

Mine not good enough then.......:D

Nope :p

As I was giving them out to everyone, I remember Steve was fairly annoyed at the lack of them at Plasa, so kept one back for him. Didn't even read his post here either!

They're fairly useful too, much better than the hopping bag style ones Kam were giving out.

And if I were to post a witty riposte to that, it would appear in the members area. And probably be deleted. So I won't. You might as well make your own up. :D :D
