I recall seeing these in the regular CPC 'when it's gone it's gone' catalogues.

Might be worth a sniff.

Here you go, page 8

If you want a quality analogue snake, look no further than VDC

http://www.vdctrading.com/products.asp?SubSectionID=110

If your budget will accomodate it, opt for a detachable system with separate stage box, cable assembly and tails. There's a choice from 4 way up to 64 way, with everything in between. Give Giles a call for the best deal.

Like when you're buying a desk, always buy more channels than you need today, as if you cut it fine you will always need one more than you've got in a few months time.

Also may be worth you having a look at http://www.brikworm.co.uk/
These were mentioned on BR the other day and IMHO it looks very impressive, and is no doubt a lot cheaper than Yammy's new SB168 that's due out early next year. Look forward to seeing it in the flesh.

If you buy a decent snake (one that won't have a handful of dead channels after a couple of months on the road) you won't save money over buying a 100m reel of Vandamme or Klotz, 10 No. Neutrik XLRs & a pack of ties. That's not really the criteria why people buy a snake....

I would go for a simple CPC one. They seem to have a bite to them:)

I assume you mean the second of the two?
