Hi people.

Last night my class d speakers started to play up.:bang:
One of the horns / Drivers kept cutting out, so the speaker kept loosing the high end sound.
I will open the speaker later and have a look to see if it is just a loose conector.

So if it is the horn driver that has gone, i can get one from Class D, but as i need the speakers for Thursday night, i need it fixed very soon.

So the question i need answered is, would this horn from Maplins do the same job as the one from Class D.

Here is the Maplins one

Here is the Class one

Or are they of differant quality?

Thanks :)

Good idea, especially as the Class D part unscrews into two parts. The maplins would require you to fit an entire unit, no problem, as long as the sizes are same/similar. Specs on both items are close enough for Rock and Roll. ;) :D :D

I built a box with 6 of these in and wasnt impressed in the slightest.
The volume was very poor on them.
