Was wondering if anyone else had got one of these.

To be totally honest I was dissapointed with it.

The demo effect is quite pleaseing to the eye, as you would expect! But the sound to light is absolutley pants!

Is it just me or is there a better way of setting this thing up.

It seems on the face of it - it requires DMX to get anything decent out of it.

Think I would have been better to buy a pair of green "rave" lasers and link em by dmx slave and master!

I think I may have bought a plum. :bang:

Is it the 3D Starcluster?

I wasn't that impressed either.

The nebula is just like the KAM Normal Starcluster :)

The 3D KAM Starcluster didn't really do much for me!

to be honest i think the starclusters were designed to be more of a mood effect rather than a dynamic one, as you say without a dmx controller plugged into it you cant realy get anything exciting from it

the best dynamic budget laser i have seen lately is the kam tri160

Took it back and got a refund - how much is a kam tri160 with controller?

Thanks

I have to disargee on that. I think its the most effective laser to use without being able to use smoke machines which appears to be more often the case. Always getting good positive feedback about it. Just gotta use it in a correct mannor

should be able to match it mate.

Thanks for all your help and thanks Darren for the phone chat and advice, but had to go back as I realised the shop had issues a credit note and not a refund!

Anyway I opted for the Kam Tri 160 with the controller and I think it's awesome. :D

I am very happy with this baby. It makes the 3d Cluster look pathetic!

Thanks for all your input.
