I have 2 Impossibleds, I point one at the floor and the other at the ceiling which fills every room I have worked in. The Miracled is also another good room filler. :)

They are a room filler, but you'll be bored within 6 months. Your customers won't, but you will.

I don't see how you can say that. He might have a higher boredom threshold than you. It's a very sweeping statement to make :sj:

Impossibled is a good choice but i personally prefer it to be pointed at the floor as it gives a great effect! Mystics is another similar light ive been looking at which has potential to fill a room, its uglyier to look at but if you get a black one then no one is really going to notice it in a dark room. Do you have a local dj store with a lighting demo room? Why not pop along and see what they got, then when you find one you like that you've seen then you can google it and find the cheapest price :D

Definately an Impossibled can't think of any as widespread for the money

my local supplier decent price considering it includes postage and packing.

Doubt you'll get a working one used from another dj as they're pretty unrivalled by any other products.

A good room filler is a 900Watt Vorma by Soundlab.
It certainly fills rooms the Impossibled wont.

The Vorma fills very large rooms no problem.

Its basically 3 off 300watt halogen lamps being rotated to the music through 64 coloured lenses.

Heres one on ebay:

Not as nice to look at as a impossibled tho....... Not too bad for the price mind

I got two mircaleds that fill a room well but its range isnt great i.e it'll fill the walls with light (if thats what you have it aimed at) but wont touch the floor or ceiling

I agree with you there Steve. I use 2 of these and think they are very underated. Have had them for about 18 months now and they never fail to dissapoint.

It's a double negative, if they never fail to dissapoint then they always dissapoint. If they never fail to please, then it would be a good review.

Still doesn't create the spread of an Impossibled

They are ALRIGHT but i would go for a mircaled rather than a stormbird. They do look really dated now.

I think you maybe hard pushed to find an impossibled for this kind of money.
They are a new light and will still hold there value. IMO

I beg to differ......have you used one?
Good light.....IMO. I used one of these for ages....good light.

I would argue with that, but then again I am not a fan of LED effects, especially the 'dotty' ones.

Having seen them run side by side, I can assure you top to bottom they are about the same, but side to side the stormbird has about twice as much coverage (& no gobos).
