Hi everyone,
I'm in the market for 2 scanners, and as I'm trying to convert all my lights to led's I am considering the ADJ X-Scan led. I've read some really good reviews and they look good on YouTube, but I have also read that they are not as bright as a 250w hal, as claimed. Does anyone have first hand experience of these lights that they could pass on, any advice gratefully received.

They use the same 20 watt LED as the X Move Moving head, which Toms done a review on, so it may be worth reading that (http://www.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=18084)

For an average sized function room they're more than enough.

Thanks Adam, that makes interesting reading. Think I'll go ahead and get the two X-Scans.

Well they arrived today. I just set them up in a room with the curtains closed and set them to sound to light and what can I say, I'm very impressed. Very bright, vivid colours and good range of gobos. Obviously not used them at a gig yet but I'll report back when I do.
