I have a couple of the LEDJ 252's and am very pleased with them. Work brilliantly with the LEDJ PAR56's.

l'ld always rather go with bulbs for strobes. I just dont feel that you can get the same intesnity out of led's.

Maybe something like this?

Or if you have the budget i would highly reccomend Martin Atomics. Used them many times. Cannot fault them.

Or, if led is a must how about these?

Can't comment on LED strobes, but i've just a couple of the Acme Firecracker strobes and they're effective.

The Martin Atomics are good, but could only be used if you had an extra 13amp power outlets, as those strobes are 3000w each!

Just had a look at the manual and I think it'sa tad more than 3000 watts. The unit requires 230v at 15 amps which is 3600 watts..

EDIT, Just found a video for the Stratus strobe. Looks quite bright on the video but would need to see in person to see the brightness of the unit - YouTube - LEDJ Stratos Strobe Disco Light @ Soundsavers.tv

LED Strobes...not a huge fan myself. You lose that "intensity" I feel. That said I've always found the LEDJ stuff solid.

If you run the Martin Atomic on low power mode (dip switch on the back) you can get away with a 13A socket...as long as nothing else is plugged in to it!!

Wouldn't reccomend using at an old village hall with dodgy wiring...cough..

Martin atomics can't be run at full power from 13amp. will be half power, you'll need a 16 amp socket it get 3000w out of it.
