I'm going along to a Curry & networking meet-up in a couple of weeks, just thought I'd extend the invite to the people on here..

* Following interest shown by a number of individuals we are pleased to announce the formation of the “The Cotswold DJ Curry Club”. The name isn’t set in stone but it’s hard to nail down that geographical grey gap between the Midlands and the depths of the West Country, so suggestions welcome.
* This initial invitation is going out to more than twenty or so of the most experienced DJ’s in the region and represents an excellent networking opportunity which can only pay dividends. This will be an informal event with no Chiefs or Indians (although some Indian Chefs) and sincerely hope you consider the value of this opportunity in the current unstable economic climate and can see the benefits such gatherings offer.
* We are holding the first event on a Monday 16th February in Gloucester.

This Months Venue:

Hilltop Restaurant
19 Worcester Street
Gloucester
Gloucestershire
GL1 3AJ

Telephone: 01452 308377

Who is going to be there and what time does it kick off?

So far we have 12 confirmed attendees, arrival for about 7.15pm and seated from 7.30pm – 8.45pm.

One of our business partners, Oz Khan our Asian DJ specialists, has recommended the restaurant and I for one am truly looking forward to it.

If you would like information on other regional DJ curry clubs email [email protected] This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and we will put you in touch.

Feel free to PM or call me for more info :)

Cool, well done for making the effort. Just need some people right on the doorstep to moan that it's too far to balance it out now... :p

Well, I think I can safely say a good night was had by all :)

It was great to make some more contacts in the area and also to catch up with some other guys I hadn't seen for a while.

It was also quite encouraging that there is massive entusiasm for following this meeting with another one next month :)

Not quite the turn out that was ecpected, although, thanks for those who sent their apologies, would love to see more of you along next month :)

Actually, out of those, it was just me. But then Adam and James were working up in Scotland this weekend, so I didn't badger then like I usually would have :) (And they're further away than country folk like wot I is)

From memory there was me, Mark Weller, Mark Davies, Oz, Craig, Justin, Ali.. and apologies to any I've forgotten.

Needless to say, the quality was there to make a worthwile meeting.
