That a no then ;)

It's not a no and it's not a yes......:)

2 ways of looking at it.
If you want to start up and give this loverly business a shot :D and need to say "Get a feel for it"....then go ahead....if things start to go good for you...get an upgrade.

The other....if you like DJing and decide to go digital...then you haven't wasted any money.

...sorry 3 things....:p ...if you don't like it or throw the towel in you've not wasted a great deal. ;) :)

It doesnt seem to have anti skip which is important for a pro setup.

Great little back-up. stick it in a case for when you never know.

Does make me laugh how they advertise it as... "A very well known DJ equipment brand" surely, you would want to say who makes it, to sell it?

I think you'd be struggling to beat it at that price, but strictly for backup purposes - I wouldn't like to rely on it for too long!

i personally wouldnt buy it even for a backup - far better to pay a bit extra and get a branded one with anti skip.

or what i done was brought some 2nd hand denons and got the re-lasered and serviced :):) ive just brough a denon 2600f from ebay for cost inc shipping of £78.00 - cost for service was £25.00 and the engineer said that the units not done much work and lasers solid with hardly anyuse or ware on teh sleds :):)

I got told through the grape-vine so to speak, that they are known brands, not top name but known, that HTFR had struck deals with to get cheaper, unbranded. Its like a W Audio amp i got from them. This one: http://www.htfr.com/more-info/MR215785 You try finding a W Audio HTF1800 on anywhere other than HTFR. :)

Im sure Adam could spill the beans....but is sworn to secrecy :D:D

Personally I wouldnt touch a second hand cd player.

Its not just the laser that wears out but the head drive mechanism.
It ends up tracking badly and eventually skipping a lot.

And the tracking mechanism for a bit more.....

And the power supply electrolytics for a bit more.....

Might as well go the whole hog and buy a new one.

Personally I wouldnt touch a second hand cd player. Dont see why not.

2 years ago brought adenon 2000 mk3 for £40.00 or ebay - cost £25.00 for service and they have now done over 150 bookings many of them 10 hours plus :):) and in all honesty they have spoiled me as i will only use denons now.

unfortuantly i cant afford the new prices so this is my route. the 2000 is now a backup unit to the 2600 (and the spare 2000 i have is gonna end up on ebay in my clearout in the next few weeks.

2nd hand isnt for everybody but then again not everyone can afford new prices, and its made even easier now as i also use a cortex so have backup.
