This happened to my yesterday

don;t no how it happened but this is the second HDD of mine to go as this one was my backup.

you need to get a software called GetDataBack

this will scan the hard drive sectors tock mine 4 hours
but it does work .

get your self a new harddrive & with this software you can copy the data back to the new Drive

Scared the life out of me thort i lost everythink

hope it helps someone else out

As a pro software developer I cant under any circumstances lose my data.
I have:
2 hard discs.
2 flash drives
2 DVD's discs with all the data on them.

Got caught out a few years back when I reloaded Windows onto my c: drive.
Windows also kindly formatted my backup drive too ! Luckily I had most of my work on a DVD too. I still lost a good few hundred pictrues.
