Dont touch the bottom one :D

Bose are good :p but you need the controler and that first. They add about 10 -15 mins to set up time as you have to add the top hats to them every gig. as they stick out so the have to come off to transport.

1st you need to define what a big room is and how many guests are going to be there, Also you need to specify if you are a DJ who will be using them at moderate volume or using them for loud volumes.

big room 200 people or so in a hall or woking mans clubs.

i am a normal party dj not needing a clubs sound system so i guess a moderate sound.

they will be used with 8ohms 600w rms bass bins off a logic crossover.

I think the the first link with your subs would be more then enough for 200 people.

It does really all depend on if you want to fill a room with sound or just the dance floor. What ever you want to do, I think what I have just said should be ok. :)

they sound good and quite loud, but I'm not use to tops/bass bins. i only ever have bass bins and full range together be for lol, also i think i now need a new amp. i put the nobs on the amp and the mixer to the top. but i could tell i didnt push the amp or speakers could this be because of ohms

my amp is a cheep pro-sound 1000 4ohms and the tops are 8ohms

my bass bins amp is the t-amp 2400.

if i need a new amp can any recommend one at 300w rms 8ohms.

i would love a 1u amp if it doesnt cost no more than others

If those are the ACP112, they sound really good & loud. I bought a pair and my other speakers have been in storage since. :)

I combine mine with 15" 300w RMS Bass Bins for larger venues and have more than sufficient sound.
