Hi All It's been a while since i posted on here. I'm looking for a bit of technical advice. I want to buy a portable hard drive and start ripping my CDs to it as I'm doing more MP3 djing these days. I've had a quick look on the web and found these two:

Iomega Prestige Portable 500GB - £62.53

Maxtor OneTouch 500Gb - £49.90

Wondered if anyone could recommend if they're any good particularly in terms of being portable and durable for taking out to gigs? Or does anyone have any other suggestions for what I should be looking at?

Cheers Simon

Hi Simon, before you spend your hard earned cash are you aware of the Produb licence which must be purchased if you are converting any files, it can be very expensive and it may be worth your while searching the forum here for information before you spend your money.
Apologies if you are aware of it but I thought i'd mention it in case.

Ebuyer are very good and reasonable for that sort of thing though.
