Can anyone please point me to a short 9 pin D cable plug to socket, preferably in CPC or Maplins. Thanks.

Does it have to be a lead? Do you just want to convert M to F ?

In a word, yes. :D
Many thanks Steve, I now see if I'd searched 9 way, rather than 9 pin I'd have found it. Thanks.
I bought a Transcension Show Director from Darren, and it's a pain coiling up the cable in the case. If I get a chassis mount, I can cable it from controller to chassis permanently, and remove the external cable to the wire box. Maybe not a great explanation, sorry.
