Nope, but it's free if you are (and also for SEDA members). If you join on the day you can get your admission of £5 taken off and you also don't have to pay the normal £10 admin fee, so effectly you can get membership for £45 :)

Notice: The members of this Forum, particularly the over 40's, are some of the most upright, sober, and well behaved citizens I have ever met. They're easy to recognise, cos they're usually to be seen helping old ladies across the road, and getting cats out of trees.

After spending a hard afternoon at shows carefully perusing the latest gear some of the rowdier ones have been known to have a brainstorming session over half a shandy and a salad.

None of them ever go out to these raucous and iniquitous nightclubs, drinking and carousing till early morning, in a vain attempt to reclaim their lost youth. Such behaviour would be totally unacceptable.

But to be honest i would love to go to one of theses events but it seems you guys go along in small groups and as being new the forum i would feel abit lost

Its a great chance to network, and meet fellow mobile DJs.

The major problem is everyone always says "I'll be there", "I'll meet you all" when they have no intention of going or meeting up. Then the day after the show the excuses start rolling out.

Those who do make the effort, do benefit whether its seeing kit they are interested in buying, gaining knowledge from either a manufacture, seminar or forum member and if that wasn't enough, you can make some great friends too!!

There isn't the option to stay at home and listen to the stream this year either, as it won't be running! There will be videos of the seminars etc. avaliable shortly afterwards, but obviously its not quite the same as being there and being able to ask questions and get involved.

I have just got in from my drive back from up north. lol. Only took 2 hours to get back as there was no traffic on the roads at all, as you would of guessed. lol.


Had a great time at the show and the after party was a laugh. lol. Was good to listen to dance music for a change. The DJ was good but I felt he was using some kind of auto mix feature. lol.

Never mind, still did a good job. Shame about those Nexo speakers. My ears are still ringing from that racket. lol.

Was good to catch up with the usual rabble, and to meet VV too, to put a face to the name!

Tried to speak to most, between all the running around demo'ing the Deckstand Booth Pro & the Pioneer MEP 7000, a bit of running for Pioneer and baby sitting the Gemini/Cortex stand when the rep wanted a break!

Was a tiring day, by the time we left, as after we packed up the trussing, starcloths and staging, it was 8pm :eek:

The beers in that club was a god send :beer1: :beer1: :beer1: to end the night!

God i was soooo tired in the club, I am wike awake now! I only had under 2hrs sleep the night before and it hit me at around 10.30pm....the beers were great and the meal at Jimmy spices was great !

The NADJ AGM is once a year but I believe there are local meets every month or so.

Most of us just wait for the big shows, BPM being the next one. :)

There should also be a West Mids meet soon, if it's not too far to go.. will probably be around the Coventry area, but you can catch a lift with me, if you want to drive over to Evesham :)

No problem, I did intend to stay over but we had quite a big one come in for the Sunday so I rushed to get home. I get home and it turns out the boys had already left and I could have stayed over after all.

It’s been a very busy few weeks and it was honestly my intention to raise my head over the trenches but time just went. I enjoyed attending and you are probably aware I have a tendency to promote NADJ and related causes so we will probably meet up soon.

You’re not too far for the Cotswold curry night and I have good sized dwelling :)
