Colour wash

I am after a cheep but effective way of a colour wash.

what would be the best way?

I would prefer to go down led route but i were looking at acme icolour any good?.

If you want cheap, And i mean on a real tight budget, You can use 150W Floodlights with coloured gels, Haved use this in past for lighting up a maquee from outside
