Anyone recommend a free photo editing program please? The laptop doesn't have one. :( The desktop has Ulead photo impact, which I love. I'm currently downloading Serif Photoplus SE, and will evaluate it shortly. I mainly need it to resize piccies for posting on here and elsewhere. Thanks.

I may see if Ulead is available elsewhere.

Peter, if it's resizing you need, there's a great little tool from Microsoft (available here (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/Downloads/powertoys/Xppowertoys.mspx)) that will do just that :)

Try this, free and very easy to use (even I can manage it). Also has loads of other, easy to use features.

!00% agree with the gimp , Photoshop killer , well thats debatable , the latest version ports to windoze quite well.

http://www.gimp.org/.

Loads of photoshop plugins work with the gimp , originally built ( and still in development ) for the LINUX platform , it`s best under LINUX , but even under windows ,it`s streets ahead of any other free offerings.
