I am looking for some sticky tape to use on my headset radio mike wiring ( sticking it to my boat race so I can fix the end of the mike close to my mouth) to get a reasonable sound, otherwise it floats away and the sound is
:Censored:

You may have seen the Football Refs on telly with large pieces of black tape fixing their head sets.

I need something flesh coloured so it doesnt look naff.

Yes duck tape does the job but thats black :bang:

Anyone connected with the Theatre may well have the knowledge.

Elastoplast just doesnt seem to do the job:D :D :D

Otherwise im facing a massive bill for an expensive headset.

I have tried one with a brilliant headset which brings the mike in nice and tight---but that had extremely thin wiring and lasted about 20 minutes

Thanks for any ideas

a sticky plaster or flash coloured micropore tape?

Link Callum?

Not for sticky plaster ---that only works if you have a completely flat surface.

thanks

Something like: http://www.firstaidwarehouse.co.uk/xpp-micropore_tape_5cm_x_5m.html

You would be best going into your local Chemist and asking for it.

Thanks Sarah, that looks useful--if it can hold body parts it should hold a miniature microphone.

What about some rolled back on itself gaffa tape. Would look silly but strong enough to keep it in one place.

On a serious not, that body tape does look like a good idea. My other half uses it for some of here dreses and its quite good stuff.
