I'm after a stumpy adaptor like this

But instead of a PS/2 plug at this end a mini USB 2.0

Like the smaller one on this lead

ie mini USB plug (male) to USB 2 socket (female)

Any ideas?

I've looked on both CPC & Maplins sites & can't find one (if they even exist), probably because I don't know what to call it.

Nah, that's a male connector on the large end (correct on the other though).

Basically I want to connect one of these

Preferably without a lead (ie a stumpy adaptor as in the first pic in post #1) although a lead would do at a push.

Try PC world They do a pack of converters , I have 5 different adapters all with USB socket at one end and various USB plug`s at the other.
