Few weeks back my roady dropped my Numark DXM-09 3 Channel Mixer and it had some Phono leads in the back... this resulted in one phono connection breaking off! :bang: and some of the others being slightly bent..
Not major problem as i still have the two channels i need, but am starting to do events where i need a mic and it would be nice to have the other channel back!!..
Unfortunately I dont have the skills to fix it myself... so question is.. does anyone know a DJ Equipment repair anywhere in Dorset / Bournemouth / Poole area?
Cheers

Haha! We are taking mobile djing to a national level thats why!
Im afraid its due to me being a student at bournemouth university! Keeping all the students up to date with some dirty electro and club =] Great fun the student life!
Then back to the disco / party when im back home in essex!

Which channel is screwed?
I've just had a look at the mixer you have and it has 3 Phono & 3 Line inputs. and a seperate mic input.

Channel 1 - line input is the one thats gone.
So now having to use channel 2, which also doubles up as the mic input channel as its switchable .
If i have to make announcements i will try and get the track on to channel three so i can switch to channel 2 for the mic... but obviously this isnt ideal!

You could try Absolute Music Solutions, Poole - 01202 684500 or Kaleidoscope, Parkwood Road, Southbourne - 01202 431691. If no good, P M me you telephone number and I'll have a chat with you.

Having read the manual, I see no mic on channel 1, but there is a dedicated mic 1 input at the front, with separate controls.

Pure genious!
Ive been using Mic 2, located on channel 2 instead of the mic on the front!
However i do still need channel 1 repaired so i will give these guys a try so I can get it repaired, cheers Silver

I cannot take the credit, sadly. :( In post #5, Tony Scott said the same thing, but less obviously. ;) Great minds, Tony. :D
