G3 MAC running Serato??

Hi my G4 powerbook has finally given up on me i think?

I am currently using a g3 ibook with 250 ram. I have had a go with my serato and it seems to be coping ok with it?

Do any of you think it would deal with it live all night with no other programs running?? possibly itunes.

I want to get the new Ibook but have no money so it would be superb if it does?

I think thats pushing it. I know that macs are better than morcoshart but Serato still suggests 1gb. It depends on the size of your library really but i would try and get a memory upgrade, even if you cant get a new lappy.

Im going to do an hour or so and see? I can use the denon if all goes wrong?

May buy another g4. do not know?

I have an iMac G3 and that cant even browse the web at an acceptable speed. Get another PB.
