But for some reason it is not working when I send a test email from a different account.

Can anyone help me I am in need of help setting this up urgently!

Are you using a POP3 account or an Exchange account? As it's not possible with a POP3 account.

Bellshill recently asked the same question: http://www.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=20132

Yes it is a POP3.

Thanks Marc.

But my problem now is how do I set it in my host account?

I am with pophost.123-reg.co.uk.

any ideas??

Hi JDB,
You will have to sign into your Mailbox with the Hosting Company, and all settings should be there. The option to set up forwarders and auto replys etc, is usually one of them included.

If not, then there will be a page (in hosting account) that archives all your email addresses together, and settings shall be there.

Either do it via cpanel,

Or get exchange running :) and be a pro :P

James

You need microsaft Exchange in order to do the out of office from outlook,

Don't think exchange is cheap to purchase either.

Yes it is a POP3.

Thanks Marc.

But my problem now is how do I set it in my host account?

I am with pophost.123-reg.co.uk.

I just had a look at 123-Reg support and it isn't possible to set an auto-responder.

any ideas??
Get a proper host with cPanel ;)
