The SSC-2's are on offer at the moment in maplin I think they are clearing them out.

yes, and i am very taken with them if i could get two for the same price as the ssc's that would be good....

Why would you want to buy them?

Other than the low light output for the 100w bulb (e.g. less than brilliant optics) and the soft plastic casing, these actually aren't bad lights. They've got separate Gobo and Colour wheels and the stepper motors on the mirrors are nice and smooth.

Ok, that was a less the convincing review, but they're not bad for the money.
