Hi guys, i need to get some custom GOBOS made. I'm lending two of my recent eBay purchases (DMX LInkable Gyro GOBOs) to my work in November for a Charity dooooo.

But ideally i would like to get two Gobos made with the charity night sponsors name, my company name and the bands name.

I have no idea where to get these created - Have googled but only found a single resource... Any recommendations??? :)

Rosco - http://www.rosco.com/uk/gobocatalog/customgobo/custom.html

Or Goboland - http://www.goboland.co.uk

Apparently Goboland is very good...

Out of the two, personally I'd go with Rosco.

Goboland only last week got one of my orders wrong, despite me signing off the artwork.

Rosco came good and I'd got one through from them in less than 24hrs.

Adam, what's the average (approx) price for a custom made metal gobo from Rosco? I have several I'm needing made.

Only used once but I had really good service from Projected Image.

I had basic lettering (see other thread for an image) and including next day delivery & VAT it was £65

Quick delvery indeed, but seems quite expensive for a single gobo (specially as I'll be buying a pair at a time). I'm pretty sure goboland quoted me around 30 quid each when I last enquired, that was with me providing the artwork.

Thanks for the info though, Adam. :approve:

The fee will be based on what design requirements are required, and how intricate of a design is required. Quotes via email (as per usual) :P

I beleive Goboland charge less for re-prints of the same custom design, so the first one is around £30 and then £8ish for each one after that.. not sure if Rosco do the same though, I've only ever ordered stock gobos.
