Got a Nikon Coolpix digital camera for the reserve price of £50 as nobody else bidded. The guy listed it as the wrong model number (very old model) instead of the good model it actually was. I noticed from the picture that it wasn't what he said it was and got a bargain. Normally goes on ebay for £150 - 200.

Got a Formula Sound FSM600 Mixer for £200 - retail brand new for a grand.

Got a BRAND NEW AND BOXED Abstract VR8 for £80!!!!!

The only real bargain i got off Ebay was a Behringer DX052 2 channel mixer for my recently brought turntables. I had my turntable package for christmas and i wanted a better mixer. I was scouring the internet and decided that the Behringer one was more than adequate for my needs. They retail at £99 and i got the same one new off Ebay for £55 with P&P included!

Glad it's making money for you.

I wondered what you wanted it for. (I assume it cleaned up well then?)

Edit - A beer on Sunday will be fine :teeth:

not quite as exciting as an FSM 600, but a 140m drum of (unused) 4.0mm SPNE HO7 for £40.00 is a bargain in my book, considering the price of the stuff new!

those 3 Macrotechs I mentioned on another thread were off ebay too, virtually brand new @ £1,000 each

as opposed to £1,700 ish trade, so a good saving there too.

Ta! (In all honesty, I had worked out it was cable, just being a bit awkward :) :) ;) )

Mine has to be my ham radio gear:

13.8V 25A Power supply - faulty - one diode and new fuse later - 10 quid - sell for at least £150.
Icom Base Radio - usually fetch around £350 - I got for £200 with loads of accessories.
Icom Mobile Radio - got for £80 but the Royal Mail dropped it and bent a knob and claim was put in - cost £20 in the end!

As for disco gear - got to be my CM100 for less than 80 quid recently.

My initial rig was from ebay - £700 and got loads inc stand, tops and subs (non Maplin!), mixer, dual cd deck, 2 x amps, lights, cables, etc, and it paid for itself in a month - still well pleased with it - even though I've probably spent that amount adding to it!

Portable TV for the bedroom, £1.20 (probably cost us more in petrol to pick it up than the TV itself did)
