Think you'll find FOUR mirrorballs will be a tad excessive ;)

How about trading the mirror balls, motors and pinspots for a couple of American DJ Starballs...?

I'd keep the mirrorballs. Much better effect IMO and they look a lot classier.

Looked at these before deciding to go classy with the mirror balls as mentioned below i looked at them as abit tacky, but cheers for the suggestion

Got my set up today :):):) but bloody hell why didnt know one mention the size of the revo 2 its HUGE lol the stand is brill apart from the lighting bar seems abit thin and unstable even though its not, the tri gems are little gems really preety bright for a little cheapy light lol, over all not bad but going to buy a proper truss lighting bar just to make sure ;)

Pics etc will be added soon as camera is back

Cheers Dave :)

P.S. When i first switched the revo on it was in sound to light mode and went through all the patterns which was awsome, but i was looking a the different patterns through the display on the back and now i cant get it to go back to just sound to light random patterns like it was when i got it, i have to choose a pattern display out of the 10 pre programmed ones and it just does the patters in that section :( does any one know how to get it to do all the patterns again ( if any one can understand my jibberish ) lol

kam tend to be a budget brand so hence why the bar is quite thin. Should be ok if your sticking with light led lights but if your using some weight on there I would check the spec of the deckstand to the weight you can safety use.

Also while i think of it lol length of power leads, they seem preety short to be fair so how does everyone plug them in on the bars etc ? ( they all came with a 3 pin plug ) only way i can think of is to pop a black extention lead on the bar but wont that look messy etc Please helppppp lol

i know some djs off the forum have black 4 ways up on the bar but I really dont like that. I run long IEC leads I think they are called into a prolight eight way switch panel which sits on top of the amp which then plugs into a 10 metre 4 way on the floor. It also allows you to quicky turn on and off any fixtures.

doing it this way means you can run the cables along the djs side of the deckstand and down so you dont have any cables hanging down. Get some velcro or something to tie the cables nice and tight to the deckstand. Job done.

Cheers mate ive got a big roll of velcro to tie up :) only prob ive got is that th lead on the tri gems is pre built in etc so looks like ill have to either adapt the cable with a 3pin adapters etc or see what i can sort

Cheers again

P.S. Any ideas on the revo issue and what i can do to make it back to what it was lol
