Actually it's a bit more like the karaoke version of MDD. I was very involved with the site when it 1st started as it kind of replaced the old EK site & being a regular user of the old EK site I was asked to get involved with KI, & like with MDD i did quite a lot to help with it's development & testing, but to be honest i got a bit fed up of the site as because i didn't live in Surrey (nothing against you Dave) i started to feel like an outcast.

I still go on every now & then but rarely post as i don't feel like part of "the gang" who all seem to be drinking buddies who seem to rule the whole site.

There were strict rules on advertising venues & gigs (a bit like how MDD do it)& i remember Colin had a few threads removed because he was said to be advertising many of his new gigs (that is what the site was supposed to be there for), yet when questioned as to why the "Callies bar" (some bar in London i think it is) threads weren't classed as advertising, it all got a bit silly at that point.

to be fair, i never watched that programme... just read with outrage & recall all the hype that she was payed about £800 a week by the DHSS to sit on her fat ass in a grotty run down Council house, in a grotty run down Council estate..... & still claimed she couldn't afford to live!

& a pint of beer costs closer to £3 in Reading & a little over in some pubs round here.

I complained tonight and spoke with the assistant manager who told me that no complaints had been made before, and that I was right.

He said he would look into it and gave us a free pint each...

I too have found it to be a very clicky site and have given up trying to infiltrate the gangs.
