Windows Vista Task Bar

Hi folks

Have lost the volume control icon from my Windows Vista task bar - bottom right. Pain in backside as trying to download some tracks.

I have been trying for the last two hours to get it back.

Anybody know how to do it. God I hate Vista.

Exactly the same thing happened to me yesterday.

Go to Start Menu - Control Panel - Sounds - Speakers Icon - Levels

Set your level, Click OK and it should appear again.

Thats my volume back but my icon is still missing.

No worries at least I can hear what I am doing now.

Cheers for that. I didn't realise you had to click the icon I was looking for a tab.

This happens all the time to me when the taskbar has to restart :@

In order to get it back usually have to reboot your PC/laptop.
