Anyone know where I can get the bass driver from one of these reconed, preferably in the Midlands, or get my hands on a good used driver?

Anybody?
A recone kit or even an equivalent driver from another company or OEM.

I'm not sure if it is the same driver as Mackie have just changed their website but I have a driver from a S215 which I had changed by Mackie because it was not clear at low volume but seemed ok when driven hard ,had only been used 4 times, PM me if this helps you in any way.

As far as I'm aware the speakers in the passive cabs are 8 ohm, the drivers in the SA 1521 are 16 ohm, which makes finding a subistute a bit of a problem, thanks anyway
If it has this part number on it let me know LC15-2502-16

Think you will find if you contact Mackie they will give you the address and details of a repairer in Tamworth.
We had a pair of 1521z which we blew a horn in one and Mackie directed us to them they seem to have a lot of ready spares available and were very good repaired under warranty.
I cant remember their name and address but was on a little trading estate in Tamworth.
Hope this helps.

I have a list of authorised Mackie repair centres in the UK if you want a copy? It is probably a little out of date though.
