c)why should I want to know his daughters full name

d) no location given why not surely he wants a quote

so the fact that some muppet, halfway round the world is wanting you to DJ at a party in the afternoon that will only last about 4 hours doesn't set alarm bells ringing.

let's be honest here, the person who falls for this this email must be as stupid as the guy sending it if he seriously thinks some bloke from the UK is going to fly halfway round the world to do a kids party one afternoon when there must be at least a DJ's who lives a bit closer.

i got an address off him 8-9 burley road leeds as the venue, googled it. its a cafe!

i got one too.

So we set up some fake disco with some absurd name, saying his details had been passed onto this company, and emailed him a quote which was in the region of £5000 for the 4 hours, to call his bluff.

Thing is, he replied, and even gave a location in our home town. So we just ingored him in the end. A friend of ours had a similar sort of thing. After the first email, the spelling, and grammar just goes to pot, and its more obvious it's a scam!!
