The best tunes for me at Christmas parties this year has been
Black Eyed Peas-I gotta A Feeling
Alexandra Burke-Bad Boys
Paolo Nutini-Pencil Full Of Lead
I never normally play a song more than once but with all three of these recently people have come up about an hour or so later and said, I know you've already played it but could you play it again and it's gone down a storm again.
Any other newish tunes you have found good this year ?

Kings of Leon is definitley still the biggest modern(ish) tune. I got a feeling goes down well, but I haven't played Alexandra Burke all that much, and don't think I've played Whitney at all! I was asked for Lady Gaga's new one (Bad Romance) the other night and that went down really well.

I had a request for Band Aid at my friday gig.
I played it - but it still feels wrong to have a beer monsters singing "Feed The World" after they've finished a Christmas meal with all the trimmings!
On friday I also had a request for the Hokey Cokey - it worked, so I played it again ... at a 5 Star hotel - I laughed about it all the way home!
