USB Studio mic latency??

Hi,

I've got a USB mic for my new 'radio' studio but suffering from really bad Latency. I've done some investigations into this and by the looks of things i need a new sound card with ASIO compatability. I just wondered if you guys know of an alternative before i spend some sponds on a card??

depending on what mic you already have. I have a samson cou1 but also have a usb to xlr lead and use a sm58. Thomann have a few usb interface gizmos that might be worth looking at.
