Hi again,

First off:
http://www.twinspin.co.uk/gallery1.jpg (Thank's Twinspin)

Im interested in the sign they have the rig saying "Twin Spin Mobile Disco webaddress". Any ideas what is actually is (ie looks like a plastic sheet) and where i could get one of these made?

Second question for the day:
I've never DJed an engagement before, nor have i ever been to an engagement party. Can anyone run down anything special with it?

Ie, the events of a Wedding Party could be considered much different to your average 18th birthday party. Anything i should know about?

Thanks in advance.

Nothing different to your regular party. Just find out about any specific song requests the client may want in advance.

Good to see hazard tape in use on speakers stands, that's how it should be done at all shows, even if it does look slightly 'unattractive'. :teeth:

at engagement parties its normally a younger age group 18-25 so maybe a bit dancey and the latest pop tunes with a few cheesy classics thrown in like agadoo well maybe not that cheesy but you get the idea

JamieSlightly off-topic, I know but, I'm thinking about making up some brightly-coloured tripod skirts to go around the base of the stands, maybe with some reflective tape on them: gets rid of the necessity for the ugly tape, but still makes them visible.

Now, back on topic

Yes, some are a younger age group (though not usually as young as teens), but a lot are a full mixture. The best thing (as with all gigs) is to ask your client.

I've never known there to be any formalities or protocol to follow for them though (not like weddings)...... Just a good party! :teeth:
