My trusty old Creative Zen Touch 40gb mp3 player is reaching saturation point. I only have 3.7gb left so I am starting my search for a replacement. I am looking for a player with at least 60gb of storage and preferably one that is recognised by Windows as an external hard drive without any 3rd party software.

My 3rd requirement is that it isn't an iPod (sorry Rob :p )

Any ideas?

On the basis of my very limited experience, a Sansa model with expansion slot, and a handful of cards. Expansion then is limitless, but requires some shuffling.

I think I have now found the successor to my old mp3 player. The Zen x-fi2 64gb (plus expansion slot). http://uk.store.creative.com/products/product.aspx?catid=213&pid=18965
