How good are these?

How much better than an imposiled for example?
I'm not sure whether to get another laser instead?

can you recommend anything else?

Cheers

Is it worth paying more for a much better laser?

So I assume that would be a good buy then?
Better than the REVO?

YouTube- equinox atria laser.wmv

YouTube- American DJ Revo 4 LED Lighting Effect at Idjnow.com

I have a Sigma which is a pretty good star cluster so they should work well together.

'Bel Amour - Bel Amour' in the first video - haven't heard that in ages (original, not that rubbish remix) :)

Laser looks good too! :D

I'm not sure you can compare the two - they are different sorts of effects.

I like the Revo...

But on a full dancefloor it will be the same as the imposibled etc.

Under DMX the '4' is a much more versatile beast than the Imposs, especially if you can give it some height.

Not to keen on the laser, but I don't know why I usually love lasers. Revo 4 looks cool, Could have fun DMXing these units.

I quite like the dynamic range of this new laser. Though you'll often find that if your laser projector is lower than 500mW, the yellow won't be very vivid IMHO. It'll be nice and the majority of discos and small clubs will hapilly take this laser on-board. I think the price of this laser is also good too ;)

this is a couple of Atria lasers i borrowed a couple of weeks ago for a small ( 500 capacity) marquee dance tent.

I bought 4 of these as a result, splendid little things, especially under DMX control

it looks like they have a good wide angle of projection. I need one!

For about a month I had my made up my mind I was going to buy a Revo 4.

Went to the retailer who demonstrated various other lights and after a lot of thought I eventually left with an equinox Dualize.

I think after using the dualize for a couple of gigs, I should have purchased a revo 4. The dualize is a slightly brighter light, but does not seem to have as much spread as the revo.

It looks as though I will need to purchase a revo 4 as well!

Hope this is of interest to you.

Mike.
