Older 'Dancey' indie(?) tracks :

New Order - Temptation
Smiths - Handsome Devil
Manic Street Preachers - Design For Life
David Gray - Babylon
Oasis - Hello

Not so knowledgeable about newer stuff, but I would have thought stuff like Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Arctic Monkeys etc wouldnt go amiss? :)

Franz Ferdinand - Any of the singles
Arctic Monkeys - Any of the singles
Killers - Any of the singles
Orson - Any of the singles
Kooks - Any of the singles
Ordinary Boys, Hard-Fi, Bloc Party, Maximo Park, (you get the idea)

In the most literal & original sense of the term Indie, YES

In the most literal & original sense of the term Indie, YES
Don't you start with your genres etc with me!

I know where the term comes from and it didn't encompass the music at the time, just the type of label it was being promoted on.

That was then, this is now.

Digital Sounds was asking for old and new 'indie' (in the new sense of the word) songs to play.

Any questions? :teeth:

I've played them all at some point, and they all worked well - don't tell me you've never played Handsome Devil?! :omg:

I'm dialling 999, cos that's a crime!
