Hi Guys / Girls,

Looking for some help on the best way to compress video for use on website.

Is there any freeware software available to get the best quality / file size ratio?

Any suggestions much appriciated

Have tryed WMV, file sizes are pretty small, but quality doesn't seem too good

Pinnacle studio is a great piece of software. I use it for video editing, as well as doing photo dvd montages.

I know quality is not fantastic but I would still opt for WMV over REAL as everyone has windows media player (except MAC users possibly), and some people will not be bothered to download real player...

Just a thought.

Have you tried Roxio Easy Media Creator 8 Videowave it has a programme called story board which is quiet handy

I to use Pinnacle Studio! I think its great for the price, its a bit temperamental at times but I have made a few cool little movies using it! :)

But ... You call all ways use Windows Movie Maker free with you PC (if you are using Microsoft! lol).
