Why do you want a slideshow? If you use flash or a flash based system then some people might not be able to see the pictures.

Cosmetically speaking it looks alot better :p and also 9 out of 10 people have flash as most websites now require it.
Also there will be a link to download Adobe Flash Player :)

I would try and use something javascript based. You get something a lot nicer and more friendly.

If people are looking at work, alot of companies block any flash based item on a website. I know because my company does exactly that!
JavaScript is definately a better option.

Depends if you want something with an admin back end or just a script.

Well probably best with an admin backend for easy editing purposes, but would I just add the script to my site?

I'm having a look at some scripts. Some will be a simple case of something like this added to your page:
<?php require ('link-to-gallery-file.php'); ?>
Others might need a bit more work.
Ill keep my eye out for you.

He (the OP) didn't say it had to be free, although you can download it and set it up for free as an individual. Only pay if you use it on a commercial site.
Cheaper than an Adobe solution for sure!!
It's just excellent

Thank you, I have taken a very brief look at the details and looks ok I will probably download the free version to take a quick preview of how it all works and if its any good I will pay the licence fee for commercial.
Thanks again.
