Not trying to treat you like an idiot, but have you just tried using another blank disc to see if it does the same?

A bit of Googling suggests this is a rather common problem, although I haven't yet been able to find a fix for it.

This just shows how the omission of a simple comma can change the entire meaning of a phrase!

surely Itunes has a FAQ?

Try restarting the computer too

Don't be daft lad!:D

Apple, like other BIG software companies (but especially Apple) don't need FAQs or troubleshooters because their software never goes wrong or gives error messages, same as the iTunes store never ever goes wrong, it's perfect 100% of the time.
The error described is quite obviously a figment of someones imagination, therefore pointless offering any help.

Oh dear! I thought I was Steve Jobs for a moment there!:eek::eek:
