What about these? http://www.stagebeat.co.uk/P/4343/PRO15+PA+SPEAKERS+PACKAGE+1200w

I've never used Peavey cabs, so I can't comment on them - but they are in your budget.

I have just done a search on eBay for some Ohm speakers with postage...and luckily i have found some :teeth:

Ohm LM-15 Speakers (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pair-of-Ohm-Speakers-Cabinets-Cabs-Disco-DJ-Stage-PA_W0QQitemZ170007974029QQihZ007QQcategoryZ69967QQ rdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting)

I don't know much about these speakers...and the seller hasn't given many details in their description of the product up for auction.

However, there are not many Peavey speakers that are up for auction that the seller offers postage as an option.

But its a start i suppose :)

None too pretty are they?

Well if i was to be honest...no they are not.

However, if you can get them for that, then that would be good. Perhaps a negotiation on the price wouldn't go a miss, in order for a quick sale! I suggest a possible £150 inc P&P in order to end the auction early.

This then gives you some money to touch up the cosmetics, like paint the grilles, clean up the cabs, etc. The remaining money that you have left over could be used to do other things, or put back into the "kitty" for a rainy day... so to speak :)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just to add, i have just noticed that the seller has fitted a brand new driver in the one speaker, so you could ask if they would fit a brand new driver in the other one for a reasonable fee.

Good luck anyway Zach :teeth:

To be honest, i havn't heard them in action so i cannot comment. However, if the other models in the Ohm range are anything to go by, then you shouldn't have any problems.

Good luck with the auction though Zach :)

Yes, a wise decision there as the addition of bass bins really does enhance your overall sound. IMO, our HiSys 2s sounded a little too hollow for my liking, so we added a pair of bass bins to the system and now they sound even better.

Anyway, back to the point. Just to give you an idea, there are a pair of Ohm bass bins on eBay at the moment so i'll give you the link so you can have a look!

Ohm SW-15 Bass Bins (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ohm-Subs-SW-15-speakers-600watts-Pair_W0QQitemZ170008886222QQihZ007QQcategoryZ23794 QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting)

Good luck with the auction for the LM-15 speakers :)

Are you planning on keeping the current sound system that you have now as a back up or are you considering selling them to recoup some money, of which you can put towards something else?

I have 2 pairs of Ohm RW3s.

I pair is the old style, which are 200w rms and quite heavy! One of the horns needs sorting out - I haven't used them for a couple of years, so didn't get round to it.

The other pair are also RW3s, but the newer trapizoid shape. These are 300w rms.

Both have scratches on the grills through on the road use, but both could be sprayed.

They are a nice sounding speaker - in fact I've used them for over 10 years and was always pleased with them.

Make me an offer!

These are the newer style (http://www.soundmastersdirect.co.uk/19/81/index.htm) and the older ones are sort of squarer.

Glad to hear that you've finally got everything sorted out Zach :)

If you get some bass bins for your system, then it'll look like the system in the link below - and sound great too!

Ohm 1.5k P.A. System (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/OHM-RW-1-5k-PA-SYSTEM_W0QQitemZ160010648052QQihZ006QQcategoryZ699 67QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem)

This is a new auction, which has only been listed in the last few hours. The seller has got the two sets of speakers that you have bought off Daz, as well as the bass bins in this range of Ohm Speakers.

The seller clearly states that they are prepared to split the items up, so may be worth asking about the bass bins if nobody posts any up for offer on here :)
