Hi All
I am new to this MP3 malarkey but its time to GET WITH IT I suppose.
I have found myself starting to us the laptop more & more these days.
As you are all well aware of V.D.J is a bit awkward to control with a mouse while up to your eyes in requests.
So time to buy a controller which would you recommend, Hercules mk2 or the Hercules e2.
I have seen loads on ebay & the web at almost the same price.
What is the difference? :bang: :bang:
thanks in advance for any advice
Good luck all !!!

Why the Hercules?
Have you considered rackmount or other options?

I use the RMX and cant fault it. Nice weight and doesnt feel cheap and nasty like some and works with the latest VDJ perfectly.

I use a Hercules RMX which is solid as is its little brother the steel. The models you are enquiring about are a bit too Fisher Price for my liking.
My only gripe - but it is a big one, is that the resolution of the jog wheels is poor.
There are many options open to you in terms of software control, I suggest you do a bit more research or divulge more about what you want from your controller so we can be a bit more helpful.

Thanks for the replies
I would love a rackmount but unfortunatly I have no space to mount it.
I need a stand alone unit so I have decided to go for the Hurcules RMX.
As mentioned the RMX is not as cheap looking as some of the Hurcules Range.
As I said I prefer C.Ds to Mp3, So for the meantime the lappy is still only used for backup.
Old School I guess :daft:
