Light Search

Hi all,

I'm after a new light to add to the current rig and was just looking for opinion's.

I've got £150 to spend, need's to cover a large area (Center light). Not a fan of LED dots.

If you can reccomend any lights within the above let me know please :)

2xDynamo Scanners
1xSSN-1 Barrel
1xVango Arc
1xMoonflower
1xMushroom


Usual set-up is the Dynamos, Mushroom and Barrel.

if you've got the dynamo's what about a 250w dynarock? (or better a dynatwin (if you can find one) or is the SSN -1 barrel similar?

I have 2 Quadrilles, 2 REVO scan LED's 2 Dynamics, and had a space in the middle initially tried an Atlantis but got fed up after one night watching so many dots in front of me, so tried to get a twin, barrel ( discontinued) so brought 2 Dynarocks much happier now!

I think you have enough lighting. I'd personally save up for a better quality light that you would get with 150 and then sell off your units. Uplighting and a couple of moonflowers/martins are the way forward

Much sense in both suggestions. I'm a big fan of symetry, so selling some of the present rig to achieve this gets my vote. Some form of big Halogen moonflower seems to be what you need according to your original post.

Actually, I'd missed the bit where he already has two. That's another viable option, and all he'd need then would be a big centrepiece, or a few par cans.

Take a look at the acme rage its got 2 10w leds in the fixture and boy is it bright
