Charlie, you must go mate. It's educational. ;)

To anyone undecided, BPM doesn't have an awful lot to offer me. This year I saw nothing new which would be desperately useful to me ( apart from the sliding deckstand idea. Mig welder time I think )

The meet and greet in the bar at BPM is worth the admission price alone.

The apres show soiree is beyond belief. When I've woken up, I might chime in with a few reminiscences.

I can't urge anyone strongly enough to start a BPM fund now, and keep putting a few bob in a tin, ready for next year.

Ahh, I guess drinks a pretty pricy. Especially at the NEC.

To buy an Egg & Cress sandwich one needs to re-mortgage their home!

No idea to be honest. I rarely look at the prices of alcohol. Necessities I have to buy regardless of the price. :d

I put an idea to Corabar steve about somethin me and steve hanley talked about on the way back.
It was about trying to book a venue on the sunday night kind of Bpm MDD Party i am sure we could even get some of the exibitors to come along more networking.
We could even see if we gould get some flyers to hand out to people at Bpm.
Say people pay 2 or 3 pounds to get in and all the money raised goes to help for heroes.
Maybe one or 2 exibitors might donate a prize for a draw.
what do you lot think about it.
And if we could get a well known dj could be a bit
of a crowed puller

Corabar Entertainment
06-10-2010, 12:51 PM
I think you'll have trouble prizing MDD out of Reflex.... a tradition has started!

(Plus, how are you going to pay for the venue, what entertainment, etc.... I doubt this will get off the ground TBH)

Shaun
06-10-2010, 01:00 PM
I have to agree with Angela. I think this will be a non-starter. Look how many people that said they would turn up didn't, and from what I hear that's quite a regular occurrence. Imagine going to the trouble and expense of hiring a venue and entertainment, arranging for exhibitors to come along....only to find that there's only a small pocket of people that's actually there.

BPM's dirt cheap. It's the incidentals which hike the expenses. :( :(

Wetherspoons food prices in the NEC were DOUBLE the one in Telford, where I had breakfast.

That's because he wanted to do different things to me, so once we'd arrived, we both went off & did our own thing, and simply met back at the entrance at 2.30pm when it was time to leave.
